About the Event

DAY 1 - Lock Picking Home Defense

You’ll learn how to gain entry into a variety of locks to include deadbolts, knob locks, padlocks, aircraft, electronic access locks, automobiles, pushbutton mechanical locks, digital and mechanical safes, hotel room doors, magnetic hardware and many, many more. Due to the nature of entry training, attendance is limited to US Citizens only.

This course is designed to better understand the locks and security devices utilized to secure homes and businesses. Skills learned during the course can be immediately employed in hardening your home or business. Nearly the entire time you’re in class, you’ll have a lock and lock picks in your hands. Because of this, it’s not uncommon for a student to use at home on the same day of graduation.

DAY 2 - Austere Emergency Causalty Care

The primary purpose of the course is to "buy time" so that the patient may make it to the hospital alive.

At the core of the AECC program are three distinct phases that have been well-proven by Special Forces Medics in the war against terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The phases are as follows:

Point of Impact: Care rendered while  an inherently dangerous situation.

Detailed Care: Care provided while the threat is not active, but may re-emerge at any point.

Evacuation Care: Care delivered while the casualty is being evacuated from the incident site. This is hopefully a setting where the patient is en route to a hospital or surgeon.

AECC focuses on life-saving medical interventions during these phases of care and provides guidelines for managing trauma in the civilian tactical or hazardous environment. While AECC has a tactical slant, it takes a "Worst Case" approach to provide care outside of the traditional EMS sphere.

We provide all medical supplies for skills and scenarios.

REFUND POLICY

Range University limits our class sizes to provide an unparalleled and individualized experience for each of our students. To do this we require prepayment and preregistration for all training classes and courses.

In order to provide our classes, we must commit resources, assign instructors, arrange classroom/range availability and incur other costs associated with the class. These commitments are not reduced when fewer students attend. Additionally, we many times do not have space for everyone that may want to participate in a scheduled session and therefore must turn away students who wish to sign up.

The weather may also be a factor uncontrollable by Range University and the session may need to be canceled or rescheduled.

You acknowledge and agree that in the event you are unable to attend the scheduled session a refund will only be given when notice is provided of your need to cancel two weeks prior to the scheduled session. This may allow others to attend in your place.

In the event, you are unable to attend the session and less notice is provided you will be able to reschedule to attend another scheduled session, but no refunds can be provided.

Individuals that do not show up for the scheduled class and do not provide notice prior to the class, agree to forfeit their fees and ability to reschedule.

We appreciate your understanding and the reason behind this policy. By registering up and paying for a session means that you fully understand and accept Range University’s refund policy.
